Todd Beaney

Todd Beaney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Princeton University, a Master of Music in Piano Performance from McNeese State University, and a Master of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Media from the Eastman School of Music. He has taught choral, electronic music, and jazz for many years at the middle and high school levels in Rye, New York, where he also serves as Musical Director for several musical theater productions each year. Mr. Beaney is the Music Director and pianist at Wilton Baptist Church in Wilton, Connecticut.


Mr. Beaney has presented sessions at the New York State School Music Association conference and has contributed lessons to both Music Educators National Conference publications and the Technology Institute for Music Educators. His arrangements and compositions have been performed by the U.S. Army Blues Jazz Ensemble, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Nick Brignola, Chip Jackson, Jeff Beal, the New Orleans Brass Quintet, Gabriel Brass, and the Candlewood Brass Quintet. He is also a piano adjudicator for New York State School Music Association Solo Festivals, regularly accompanies choral groups for area All‑State festivals, and has released four compact discs of his instrumental hymn arrangements.
