Jason D Payne

Jason Payne (b. 1980) is a native of Decatur, Georgia and a 2002 graduate of Bob Jones University where he received his organ training under the direction of Dr. Ed Dunbar. Jason has also studied with Dr. Albert L. Travis, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Organ at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Jason has many years of experience as a church organist, having served First Baptist Church of Atlanta, First Baptist Church of Snellville, as well as churches in North Carolina and South Carolina. He has served as organist for Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia since 2007.

Jason enjoys writing and arranging sacred music and has numerous works for organ published by The Lorenz Corporation.

Jason is married to his wife Erin, and they have been blessed with four children.
